2 мин. чтения

ℹ Information
The Settings section allows you to manage the main parameters of your WordPress website, including changing the domain name, configuring system tools, and managing automatic updates for WordPress, themes, and plugins.
01

Open the Settings Section

Open the list of websites, select the desired website, and go to the Settings tab.

This section contains all the main settings for your WordPress website.
02

Configure the Domain and System Tools

In the Domain Name section, you can change the website’s domain name and enable or disable the Preview Link.

Below is the Tools section, where the following options are available:

  • Search engine indexing — allow or prevent search engines from indexing your website.
  • Debugging — enable WordPress debugging mode.
  • Password protection — protect your website with a password.
  • Take over wp-cron.php — use the system Cron instead of the built-in WP-Cron.
  • Enable hotlink protection — protect your website’s images from being directly linked on third-party websites.
Most settings can be enabled or disabled using a simple toggle switch.
03

Configure Automatic WordPress Updates

In the WordPress Version Updates section, choose the preferred update policy for the WordPress core.

  • None — all updates are installed manually.
  • Only apply minor version updates — only minor security updates are installed automatically.
  • Apply all updates automatically — all WordPress updates are installed automatically.
For maximum security, it is recommended to enable automatic installation of all updates.
04

Configure Automatic Theme Updates

In the Theme Autoupdates section, choose how installed themes should be updated automatically.

  • use the theme’s own update settings;
  • install security updates only;
  • install all updates automatically.
If necessary, you can also enable automatic updates for themes installed by the WP Host system.
05

Configure Automatic Plugin Updates

In the Plugin Autoupdates section, you can choose how installed plugins should be updated.

  • use the plugin’s own update settings;
  • install security updates only;
  • install all updates automatically.

Additionally, you can enable automatic deactivation of plugins with known security vulnerabilities.

Automatically disabling vulnerable plugins helps protect your website from known security threats.
✓ Completed
Your website settings have been successfully updated. You can return to the Settings section at any time to modify your WordPress website configuration.
